3/4″ NPT Gas Valve. Brass gas valve. For safety reasons, you should shut off the gas line to your grill when you’re done cooking, in case a leak is created in the flexible gas line to your grill. It can also be used in an emergency to shut off the gas during flare-ups, if you can’t get to the grill to shut of the burners. Also useful if you wish to hook up another gas burning item in place of the grill, such as an outdoor heater of fireplace.
